Through peer-to-peer outreach and education, we empower youth to make positive and healthy sexual choices. We also include drug and alcohol prevention education into all of our activities and materials.
MPowerment consists of GLBTQ youth, aged 16-22, who produce events, coordinate activities, perform outreach, and produce educational materials.

I support the domestic partnership law in Washington State.
That's why I just signed a pledge to work to retain Washington State's Domestic Partnership law. We must ask our friends and family to "approve" Referendum 71.
The question on the November ballot will be: Should this bill be approved or rejected? To retain the domestic partnership law we will need to vote approved.

other events are currently being planned and brainstormed. such as dances, gatherings, public events, helping schools start a GSA, trips, famous public speakers, and so on.
however, in order to make these things happen we will need volunteers for the fall season and/or any ideas that you would like for us to include in our agenda.

On Tuesday, September 8th --> UNCENSORED!: the R-rated truth about drugs and sex -for queer guys 22 and under. This is a peer-led (and fun!) discussion group -FREE food, gift cards, bus ticket, and info. for all who attend! No need to RSVP - just show up and have fun with us!
This event happens on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:30PM at the MPowerment Loft - 1017B East Union (above the Lifelong Thrift Store): Capitol Hill.
This is a safer sex workshop like you've never experienced. Come and see what all the hype is about :)
