Philippe Maisse aka Minuteman is born in 1972, 8th of August in Liege in the beautiful Kingdom of Belgium. He found interests in electronic music at the age of 12, and bought his first records, at this time it was the Body and New Beat wave.
At the age of 15 he begin to mix with two decks. Influenced by artists like FRONT 242, Neon Judgment, Ann Clark, Fad Gadget, ... and Dj's from famous clubs like the Boccaccio or La Chapelle...
During many years he will mix, live from his bedroom, night and day.
Now Minuteman's style is from evolving from Minimal techno to Progressive and Tech house, influenced by Artist like Nathan Fake, Dominik Eulberg, James Holden, Alex Smoke, Riccardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin and of course Sven Vaeth.
A few years ago, he began to organize parties. He had the opportunity to organize events in Liège but also in Brussels.... During this period he met a lot of people from the nightlife and Dj scene.
He also played in different clubs and a lot of private, or illegal parties.
In September 2006, he moved to Toronto in Canada, not only for the maple syrup, but also to give a new kick to his professional carrier, as soon as he landed Minuteman started to search for new challenges and musical opportunities... his new Quest!
