About me:
Born and raised in the Bay Area. Moved to Chicago about 3 years ago
to go to school, follow my passion for music, and try this life thing on my own.
I am now involved in the nightlife industry from a few different angles, which makes it always interesting! I work for the cutting-edge record label Potty Mouth Music(check out www.pottymouthmusic.com), my favorite club in the world, SmartBar (www.smartbarchicago.com ... always promoting!), and the innovative mad scientist producer group Santiago & Bushido (www.santiago-bushido.com)
So far, Chicago is super awesome and I'm learning so much, but I miss my folks at home!
daaang I stayed up till 1 am this morning to download s&b's new release on beatport LOL so I was thinking bout coming thru maybe the last weekend of aug?
Hey Ori, thanks for playing last week. Thanks to all that showed up to our event last week, Deep with Greg K, Ori Kawa, and Frank Solano. And for our friends that were unable to make it, we took some pictures and recorded the tunes. Please let us know what you think at LaManza Blog. Adios Amigos,
Thank you to all that came out to the South of Roosevelt Record Release Party last Wednesday. You can check out pictures at SoRo Record Release Pics. This Wednesday, April 15th Frank Solano and Ori Kawa with Greg K will be DJing and Sandra P will be the nite's host.
yeah one of those "you know your getting old when... the places you know start to disappear" You know we will all have a Angus reunion one of these days :) It will probably be Wakin that organizes it even though he never even worked there :) hehe
yeah i actually was working there again for a few months before that happened to make some extra cash to supplement my business plans... did you hear about Seth and Keily's bundle of joy?? I've been contemplating a move but haven't found a place worth moving yet... its nice to hear that your doing stuff involving music and such :) Ryan is in NY now living with Larry.... Yeah i feel the worst for Corey and Shaft they have worked there so long... havent heard if they've found anything yet.
Things are pretty good :) i'm still in san jo but i've been working on making and selling clothes in SF and the East bay so i cant complain :) how long have you been out there?? whats new?
