General	painting, drawing, math, theories of life the universe and everything, paradoxes -- i love paradoxes, games.... oh i'm writing a book it's got hundreds and hundreds of pages but it needs a lot of editing. also a couple childrens stories which are written but i need to finish the illustrations for. well that's the time consuming part.
Music	jimi hendrix, woody guthrie, mozart, the legendary pink dots, pentangle, mother earth (the 1990s - 2000s mother earth not the 1960s-1970s one), nick drake, stravinsky, debussy
Movies	waking life, revolutionary girl utena, you know i can never keep a favorite very long but i have to put down what i've seen the most times, conan the barbarian esp. for the 1 liners: "civilization, ancient and wicked... let's waste our time!", ghost in the shell i and ii, my friend totoro (love this film)
Television	dr. who, revolutionary girl utena (the series was even better than the movie), stargate sg1, buffy the vampire slayer, the simpsons, ghost in the shell
Books	the hobbit is still my all time favorite, and farmer giles of ham, also by tolkien, was also very good. the cornelius chronicles by michael moorcock, not very widely read among his works, but i think his best. everything by douglas adams. tao te ching, and lao tzu's lesser known work hua hu ching.
Heroes	ordinary people who care enough to be good to each other, even maybe especially folks they don't know, it's not all that common actually. people who care enough to be good to animals, plants, the environment, children, etc, those they could easily take advantage of and dont.
