Influences
Those of you who saw the cool Jazzers on this page last month will be pleased to know they are now safely tucked up in bed with a nice cup of hot chocolate and a good book:) :( and they will always have my total respect. )
And then along came Rock an Roll..........and I was lured away to the dark side. After years of C# minor 9th chords I decided to try just three, shout loads and play at ear-splitting voulmes with somewhat derranged Drummers and mad bassmen.. .. And it was great fun, he he.!!! At this period in time my girlfriend had an equally pleasent sister:) and they did everything together... ( ahem..! )
So really then, anything that rocks, or makes you smile, or makes you horney or floats your boat...
And maybe: Red hot chillies, RATM, Alice Cooper, the Police, Cutting Crew, Mr Zappa, Kindness, beautful women with a fantastic sense of humour, in their underwear and the usual debauchery that is Rock and Roll.
And Yes the Jazzers are back... people of such a unique quality and substance this next tune is in C#Minor diminished 7th.
Sounds Like
Some-one kicking a drum kit down the stairs:
Some-one with an 11 volume control amp setting:
Sometimes, like a wasp in a jam jar:
Some-one with a deranged chainsaw: ( that'll be the Bass player then. )
A bunch of scruffy gits singing songs about babes, going for it and lager... :-)

And don't forget to turn off the other songs, otherwise it sounds real weird.!..................
The Mr B story.
Over the years there has been quite a few changes to me band line up, and its been an honour to gig with the likes of Robin Guy, Chris James, The sensational Alex Coutts, Mr Nigel 'Nutty' Bradford and work with the legendary producer Colin Thurston at the Roundhouse studios, London.
Belive it or not i won a silver cup at the Southampton jazz festival, worked as a session guitar player in London, played in a 5 peice blues band 'The Bullfrogs' and have given 5 interveiws on BBC radio, about the Evacuees song ( on the web site and above called 'Goodbye Johnny' with Joanna Wyatt on B vocals,) and my recently finished first book. ( The Dorset Arms story )
There are two albums that have been recorded, samples are on this space...enjoy.
If you want to read more check out the web site, which is updated once a month with a 'rant': short sharp stories, with a twist of Mr Zappa's humour..
In these monthly offerings I try to take the piss nicely, and adopt a wide variety of charactars... See's Mr B becoming a total Snob, with some helpfull advise from our friend the Chav....
I have decided to put some of the Rants in the blog section...oops...!
The basic attitude is to play music and enjoy. lets face it there is enough s**t going on in the world, and real music can lift the spirit, make you crazy and put a huge smile on your face.
That's what its all about.
Thanks a lot for the add. EletriKa is complitly different of every Metal band you already know. Please, when you have a minute, just check EletriKa out, ok?

I do 'ope your few jars wiv me old mate Dom went swimmingly. I was jealous, I'd love to go for a few 'richard geres' with you blokes. Oh well, I traded that opportunity for sunny skies and a bit less struggling, but I do miss you all... seriously. Went to see a great song writer doing his stuff. A bloke called Josh Pyke. He's been to the UK on tour so you might have heard of him. Check him out, he's cool. Had a great night. Take care Bonx. You're a good bloke :o) Nice to be in touch again. Blokey above board love and back pats! From Jake
