    ABOUT ME I began my musical education in Georgia playing the trumpet at age 11. While in high school, I left music behind to pursue visual arts. It wasn’t until I graduated from college and landed in New York City did my need to create music return. Soon after, I picked up the guitar. Within a year, I began attending local open mics and training my voice. This time I was writing music and lyrics that were predominately about love, healing, and searching for a respectable place in the world. A year later I began programming and producing my own tracks while educating myself on the music industry. I also began singing in different choirs around the city. In early 2006 I began production on the songs that would become Godwomanblue: She Made God Sexy. This album is the first installment of a musical trilogy I hope to share in the near years to come. ABOUT THE ALBUM The Godwomanblue: She Made God Sexy album is my personal musical beginning. It's the concept that first inspired me as a musical artist. What would it sound like if someone was so moved and inspired by the love they received from another human being that it spawned a new personal religion? One where people are recognized first for their ability to divinely inspire others; and lastly for their social, economic, or physical positions in the world. It's also my attempt to make sure that people know that if they ever feel like they don't have a place to go for truth, love and acceptance; ..THEY CAN CREATE ONE. ..As with most first albums; it showcases my obsession with the faith..that got me here, my viewpoint of the world and my desire to grow..and be better defined as a human being through my music and art. I only hope that anyone who listens to it finds the life lessons and strength..that I found while making it. Enjoy...
