    <div class="iTopB"><a href="http://www.pointblankonline.net/105-0-1-8.html" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="http://www.pointblankonline.net/affiliate/banners/468x60.gif" width="468" height="60" alt=""></a></div>Mr.Bristow has been DJ-ing for over 11 years, playing everything from hip hop, house, breaks, drum & bass, funk, reggae, pop & soul. He has played at venues all over London including Bar Rumba, The End, Hidden,Marquee Club, Jamm, Platinum, Plan B, 93 feet East, Cafe 1001, SEOne, 333, Fluid..... He is the Head DJ Tutor at Point Blank Music College (http://www.pointblankonline.net/105.html) and can regularly be found playing at 'The Vinyl Touch' - winner of ‘best small club event’ at the 2008 Breaks Poll Awards - alongside nu-skool breaks veterans Ed 209, Dr S Gachet, Swifty B & Ellis Dee. He was also a regular at No Rest For The Wicked, a live drum & bass / breaks night held at the Rhythm Factory in Whitechapel. In June 2009, Mr Bristow & Swifty.B featured on Eddy Temple Morris’s XFM show, The Remix, where they treated listeners to their unique blend of mash up mayhem. The pair were also clear winners of a national DJ competition on dontstayin.com, resulting in them playing a storming set at Dance Island festival in Cambridge the same month. Aside from breaks, Mr Bristow can often be found cutting and scratching at Brand New Beat at the Social, Oxford Circus, which boasts some of the finest UK Hip Hop talent. He has also recently performed with new up and coming live hip hop band, Kaned & Able, at a sell out gig at the prestigious Horn pub in St Albans (winner of ‘Best Live Music Venue’ award 2007) and London’s famous 333 Club in Old Street. Since January 2009, Mr Bristow has also been resident and promoter of Academy at 93 Feet East- a DJ showcase event that gives up and coming DJ talent a chance to perform in the heart of east London’s thriving music scene. Mr Bristow has scratched it up in clubs across London as part of the band ‘1 i Bear’, alongside members of the Brand New Heavies & Dub Conspiracy. In his role at Point Blank Music College Mr Bristow also teaches at outreach projects across the South-East and at events including ‘The Princes Trust Urban Music Festival’ and the ‘Activ8 festival’, Hyde Park. He has taught several celebrities, including Radio 1’s Annie Nightingale. He has featured on X FM, Kiss FM, ITV London Tonight and been interviewed in DJ Magazine. From Oct 2005 - July 2008, he was a resident at Backdrop – a D&B & Breaks night held at Brixton Jamm & The Telegraph. Here, he performed alongside the likes of Foreign Beggarz, Pendulum, Shy FX, Bad Company, Fabio, Shut Up & Dance, Mr Thing and many others. Mr Bristow reached the regional finals of the Daily Telegraph's Juice DJ competition twice (2001 & 2002) whilst studying for a Music Technology degree at the University of Hertfordshire, where he gained a 2:1 Bsc Hons. He also held residencies at the Student Union and hosted a weekly Breaks radio show with one half of established Breaks act ‘Diverted’.
