Mr Clean is definitely influenced by most 70's, 80's and 90's metal and rock bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Queensryche, Alice in Chains, Kiss, Rush, Metallica, Yes, etc.
Sounds Like
Mr Clean mostly sounds like Judas Priest or Queensryche. We are also versatile enough to sound like Rush, Iron Maiden, Guns and Roses, to name a few others.
Mr Clean was started in 1999 by Johnny O, Fed and three former members. We were talking about how every bar band you see plays the same songs . We immediately set out to become one of the best bar bands in the area. We all loved heavy metal and rock music, so we chose the songs we would love to hear. We had a good run until there became differences with a few of the bandmates. In 2002 Mike D replaced one of the original guitar players and has been with Mr Clean ever since. Mr Clean was soon gigging and on fire again. In summer 2004, Mr Clean wanted to bring the show to a wider audience in the surrounding areas and also wanted to freshen up the set list by adding newer songs by newer, different bands. By September of 2004, Kevin stepped in as the new bass player and in Feb 2005, Rob sat in to fill the drum throne.
October 2007 brought two more changes in the Mr Clean lineup. Mr Clean now has two more bald members- Tommy on bass and Tony on drums! These two are veterans on their instruments and are a welcome addition to the Mr Clean band. Keep checking for future Mr Clean dates and check the new band out. We are gonna kick some ass!
