Andy Smith is a Melbourne based singer/songwriter who writes infectious folk songs that are heart felt with hints of roots and reggae. Influenced by a variety of artists including Bob Dylan, Bright Eyes, Loren, Austin & Nick Cave, Andy and his band, TheOldBooks (Andy- Vocals, acoustic guitar & harp, Taylor- guitar, Corey- percussion & Zane- Bass) are looking to gig regularly around Melbourne live music venues, pubs and bars. Currently Andy has supported reggae outfit Bonjah and the delightful Coby Grant. At the moment Andy is in the midst of recording a demo and sourcing gigs for the months of May and June.
