Dylan Trees is a Los Angeles based collective of likeminded musicians centred around British singer-songwriter Jeremy Simon. Some days it's one man and a ukulele. Other days it's a room full of girls and boys hitting the same cymbal and humming four-part harmony. It sounds both ancient and modern.
The Charlie Horse EP was released on Mother West Records in October 2008. Produced by Charles Newman (Magnetic Fields), it is a righteous cacophony of classic British psych-folk with distinct undertones of Americana.

Wow! What a SXSW! I really enjoyed mixing your set at the Rusty Spurs. It was a real pleasure enjoying the week with you and I hope it is sooner than a year before we reconnect again.
my dear, dear friends from Nashville are playing the Derby tomorrow. They are incidentally also FANTASTIC (check them out- Buffalo Clover on my page). If ya'll don't have plans you should meet me up there and hang! I'm trying to talk them into moving here, so I need to show them a good time!! jes
so sorry i missed the show guys!! I actually showed up and stood in the line for 20 min. By that time you were already on and the line hadn't bugged, so i gave up. :(
Thanks man, I'm planning on going back there and getting the shot...composing it the same and taking my time...It seems another website has picked up the story: http://laist. com/2008/05/14/yes_you_can_tak. php
