Mr Egg Germ is the production work of Chicago musician Rick Gehrenbeck, keyboardist for Poi Dog Pondering, The Booty Movement Coalition, Mr A.L.I., Sergio Pires' ElectroFunkSamba, and Trio de la Pena. Combining elements of deep house, funk, jazz, and latin music, Mr Egg Germ has seen releases on record labels like D'lectable, Esntion, Fourplay/Forever Soul, Loveslap, ILI, and Bass X. In addition Rick has performed world-wide including sold-out shows at San Francisco's legendary Fillmore, the Cargo in London, and Lollapalooza in Chicago.
