LEATHER DEMO NITE @ SPURS!
ALWAYS THE LAST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH
Still waiting to see who in the Tampa Bay Leather Community wants to participate. Please read my blog. This is for Education & Familiarization - not about getting off. Come out to learn something once a month. Let's get together and have some fun!
Yes, this is promoted and sponsored by Gear Up Tampa Studs and the Mr. Gulf Coast Florida Leather Contest. It is hosted by
Leather MEN, Politics, light SM, reading, computer games: Civilization, SimCity and the Sims (!). I go to the gym, though not as regularly as I'd like. Todd and I had to let go of our two beautiful Boxer dogs. We moved and couldn't keep them. I miss them so very much. Movies - at home or out.

Movies
Super Hero movies, Star Wars, Blade, that kind of thing. Ever seen "What The Bleep Do We Know?"?
Television
Don't watch much TV, but miss Buffy and Charmed. I like House too and all the Law and Order / CSI shows but don't want to get hooked on them.
Books
religion/politics/sociology/psychology/metaphysics/science
Oh and sci-fi/fantasy. I really like the "Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter" books. Carlos Castaneda. Richard Bach's "Jonathan Livingston Seagull". "The Velveteen Rabbit".
Heroes
What have you done today to make your world a better place. Notice I said "Your World". The big wide world is too big for most of us, but if we make our small worlds a better place, then we're all heroes!
This is from Iraq in April/May 2007.
This is from Iraq - parts west of Baghdad - in January 2008.
This is the Al Faw Palace, west of Baghdad. It used to be the old headquarters of the Iraqi Army.
I've been here in Tampa with my partner, Todd, since I got out of the Army in May of 05. I did 14 years and just got tired of Don't Ask, Don't Tell and the Rethuglican mindset and the sheep attitude. I really like Tampa and now that Ybor City is becoming a happening place I won't miss Washington, DC so much. Well, maybe.
I was Mr. Gulf Coast Florida Leather 2006 and competed in IML that year. It was a blast! I traveled the country promoting the leather title and the title bar, "the platform". I appreciate the opportunity Jim and Kris gave me to represent their bar.
Todd and I are now the owners/producers of the Mr. Gulf Coast Florida Leather contest.

When the platform closed, we needed a new home and Todd and I chose John and Michael's new bar, Lounge 7.14. They have since opened The Forge, which is off the patio in the back of 7.14. It's a smaller space and just right to pack in leather/levi men, for chatting each other up, and more...
Todd and Me
We celebrated our 6th Anniversary on December 1st. Yeah!!
There's a lot more to me, to Todd and to us all than what we can fit on the electrons whizzing around here. Pun intended by the way...Is it all important? That's a good question. Do we take it all with us when we go? That's probably more a conundrum than a question, and really more rhetorical. I have my thoughts, my beliefs and my values. All that matters is what matters.
Who I'd like to meet:
Calling all Leather / Levi Men! Woof! Woof! Go to your closet. Unpack your gear. Turn off your computer. Step into The Forge!
GEAR NITE @ THE FORGE Always the 2nd Saturday!
Beat it up the back alley path through the back gate. AND ~ They enforce CODE!!! Men's Only Nite! No open-toed sandals were allowed. No gear = no shirt!
