The debut album Feel It of Mr. Glamarus full of sweet vibes and his sweet voice is OUT NOW! Get your copy at www.sws-sound.com The long-player features a mixture of roots reggae, lovers rock and dancehall on 18 decent tunes including his hit single "Feel It" and tunes like "Can't Tek Di Vibes", the positive "There'll Come A Time" or the beautiful lovers tune "Nice And Slow".
Born in Greenwich Farm, Kingston, Jamaica, around the pulsating beat of reggae and dancehall music, Mr Glamarus from an early age discovered his love for music and has since then set his eyes on musical stardom . Blessed with an angelic voice and a star appeal,
Mr Glamarus performed with his school and church choirs and made his debut singing on the sound systems in his community.
Looking for that big break, Mr Glamarus made his first recordings entitled The Right Time and It s Alright on the Black Solidarity Label and has not looked back since. During his teenage years he hung around the prominent studios of Kingston such as Anchor, Penthouse, Black Scorpio etc. and has recorded extensively on these labels. He had relative success with his cover of Ushers Nice and Slow which sold well in some European territories. This was only the beginning as he had to record other tracks such as his collaborations with Dj Scorpion
African Princess and Suffering and his solo single Alison on the Builders Label which created a buzz and some of the attention he was seeking.
His teaming with Richie Wonder saw him getting more attention and while with the duo he has charted successful singles on the local and the overseas chart which included their cover of Shania Twains From this Moment. To date he has recorded an album on the Palais Royale Label.
To his credit Mr. Glamarus has performed on Sting, Teen Splash, Rebel Salute, Heineken Startime etc and has released an EP on the Canadian label Strong and Free of which the title Where Would I Go is getting favorable spins here in Jamaica and overseas.
Now fully in charge and ready to explode on the scene, Mr. Glamarus has two previous hot releases which include A Girl Like You (Witty Label) and Make it for Real on the (Hot Tracks Label), which were storming the airwaves in summer 2004. His new releases Should a Stay and Show Love on the Hot Tracks Label was in heavy rotation on local radio stations in Jamaica and Overseas, his hit single Feel It got a huge buzz in Jamaica and is destined to be a chart topper.
His advice is to be strong and dont let the system get you down. Love Peace and Unity.
