Mr. Hand, a Northeast Nebraska based rock trio, was formed in August of 1995. Musicians bound by friendship, a desire to write, record and perform music. The band has spread their brand of Midwestern rock and roll across Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota.
With the release of their fourth album “Simple Ways E.P.” in March 2005, the band further defines their sound and style. The disc contains four new original tracks and a cover of Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl.” This collection of music shows their maturity as songwriters and that the group still likes to rock.
The "Simple Ways E.P." follows the 3 previous Mr. Hand releases "Fueled by the View" in 2002, "Treats!" in 1998 and "Scheme of Things" in 1996.
Mr. Hand’s chemistry is best displayed at their live performances, where they support their original music yet still enjoy playing crowd-pleasing covers. They've had the honor to share the stage with many great bands including Pat Benatar, Seven Mary Three, Firehouse, Cinderella and Great White. In addition to live performances, their music has been heard in the independent films "Kitty Cats and Exit Signs," “Halfway Point,” “The Dean’s Boys,” and on the MTV show “Undressed.”
