"MHOF, thank you, not only for donating our instruments to us, but also for giving children like me the opportunity to learn music and develop a talent that we will keep our whole life. You give us something that will define us, make ourselves special."-- Joseph, 11 years old.
Because of the financial and in-kind support of concerned and motivated music lovers, more than 500,000 young students have new opportunities and experiences available to them. They have been given something that will generate lifelong benefits and memories. Teachers, parents and those in their community see every day how much this simple thing, giving a child an instrument to play, can change their life forever.
In eleven years, 747 music programs and 105 schools in six states affected by Hurricane Katrina are now giving their students a better music education experience because they are playing great instruments purchased and repaired through your generosity.

Had it not been for the instruments available at my middle and high school, I would never had the opportunity to learn to play the french horn. I look forward to being able to be a part of this organization.

The gift of music has been by far the greatest thing that's happened to me in life. It was because my mom bought me a piano when I was 6 that I have this amazing love.
If you can do that for all these kids through your organization, that's nothing short of amazing.
