Violence and brutality are around us all the time. In the media, movies and in life, these two factors are major catalists. Heavy hardcore and metal bands always catered to the release of aggression, but now...someone coming from the hiphop scene embraces this like never before. MR.HYDE, the New Yorker rapper, is well-known for his ultimately violent, attacking, raw lyrics and extremely energic flow. He has the ability to verbally shred any listener. Born and raised in the streets of Queens, he had to meet inhumanity at first hand at a young age, this served as a big inspiration. Violence and brutality stimulates my imagination and my memory. I write about the horrific things that I've either seen, done, thought about doing or plan on doing.", explains the MC how to use brutality.

All these experiences, along with the very real street fights he's had, led him to start boxing. The sport is a tradition in his family. "Boxing was always a big part of my life. My father and every one of his 4 brothers were boxers. 3 amateur, and 2 pro. My father taught me how to throw punches at a young age. I started boxing at 13, and have been doing it off and on ever since." Alot of bloody stories proves that he is about to walk the walk not just talk the talk when it comes to fend himself, family and friends. With roots comin from Napoli and Sicily, as an Italian-American kid looked up to the legendary boxers like Rocky Marciano and Jake LaMotta, he identified with fighting makeup and uses it as an added driving force "I am very much up on boxing's history of great fighters. What inspired me most about warriors like Marciano and Lamotta was their heart. They did a lot with a little. They did not have as much talent as other champions, but more grit, determination, and sheer will to win than anyone in their era. There was not one ounce of quit in them and are a huge inspiration for me to be the same way. In fighting, sports, music and in life."

Side by side, his other love, hiphop, he started to practice it around 1992-93. Rhyming and paying the dues, appearing at many open mic contests and MC battles. 1997 was a turning-point year. It was a relevant moment when at a show he met NECRO. They both rapped evil. Upon meeting, they instantly saw the similarity of interests like boxing, alot of same tastes in movies and music, Mr.Hyde became Necro's number one federate in the building of the PSYCHO+LOGICAL-RECORDS empire. The next milestone date in his carreer was August 10th of 2004, the BARN OF THE NAKED DEAD solo debut lp. That exclusively Necro produced record made alot of noise in the whole world, and Hyde’s solid fanbase started to grow faster than ever. The album is a one hour pure evil lyricism and grinding flows, with the flavour of the classic cinema including many horror movies. "I was definitely influenced by gore flicks. When i was very young, my mother would never let me watch them. Because she was so strict, would sneak and rent the most fucked up movies when i stayed by my father's crib on the weekends. I was exposed at a very young age to the most crazy grizzly violent movies. So of course when i started to write lyrics for the first time, my content was super brutal.", summarizes the rapper on his strongconnections to horror films. The year after, it was a natural thing to Mr.Hyde bein part of the CIRCLE OF TYRANTS with Necro, ILL BiLL and now out of crew Goretex, a group album revolving around the themes he uses wholeheartedly, is already considered a classic. Songs like "South Of Heaven", "Theatre Of Creeps" or "The Ultimate Revenge" (which one features Vinny Appice of Black Sabbath/DIO and Alex Skolnick of Testament) are all standouts and show Mr.Hyde's capability rap on a alot of different style production. Since then, he keeps busy touring the world with Necro. Recent travels include: the whole USA, Australia and Europe, performing in front of very diverse audiences from straight metalheads, to juggalos, to first and foremost, Necro and Hyde's own die-hard fanbase.

Aside from all this, the main focus is the brand new Mr.Hyde solo album. This is how he describes it: "the new album "CHRONICLES OF THE BEAST MAN" is on some "next level" MR.HYDE. Its 100% proven that i'm innovative, original, versatile, and more lyrically proficient than people thought. Its me creating and flipping new, crazy flows a diverse spectrum of NECRO and SEAN STRANGE beats with the same signature "MR.HYDE" energy and sadistic brutality. Whether they loved or hated my first album, people will be impressed. This record is pure evil, technical butchery personified into the form of a "BEAST" of an album."

After all, Mr.Hyde is one of the best examples of what is like to stand for the values of loyalty, brotherhood, respect and integrity. His hard work and invincible effort to contribute to make the P.L.R. name what it has to be is a great example people must follow: "the Psycho+Logical-Records movement means a lot to me. Its more than just rapping, touring, getting our name known. Its a family. Its a label started from scratch by my best friend with his own blood sweat and tears and incredible vision to create cutting edge original hip-hop for the world to embrace. I stand by and support this vision 100% even if I never picked up a microphone or pen ever again, I would stand right next to him and fight for his cause until he achieves his goal. "
