Hey, its Jimmy. Welcome to possibly the worst myspace page ever. Since you are sooo interested in my life, here's a little nugget for you.
I recently graduated from Samford University so now I have to be a grown up. Not a fan. The good news is that I know I want to play music for a living. The bad news is that it pays next to nothing.
I grew up in Montgomery Alabama where I was a normal kid who took piano lessons at age 7 then quit piano lessons at age 10. Music took kind of a backseat to adolescence, but then a weird thing happened. I was 16 and one morning I woke up at about 4am (first time ever) and a thought was implanted in my head to go out and learn to play guitar. It made no sense at all but that afternoon I went and bought a cheap strat and a little 15 watt amp and tried to teach myself to play. That first day I played about 4 hours and to this day I still probably average that amount of time with my guitar.
It is funny how a guy who grew up only playing metallica songs can end up writing in the style that I employ. Whoda thunk it? Anyway, thats not all there is to me, but it is how I got started. Hope you like my stuff. Oh yeah....my hips don't lie either.
