  • Bio

I am a guitar and bass player singer songwriter working the Boston music scene since the mid eighties, beginning with a stint in comedy rocker DJ Hazards band (Untie my ankles in the morning?) and later with the genre hoppinglBorder Patrol As the 90s rolled in I joined forces with Mickey Bones playing all kinds of rootsy NOLA yank a chank and rightous slop(blues cajun zydeco jazz folk)and a few years later took the gig in Mark Cutlers (superb under rated ex Raindogs frontman) band recording and working steadily until the late 90s. Around that time I happened to stumble into a downtown Irish pub (The Black Rose) where he was coaxed on stage for a tune. Almost eight years and 1500 gigs later I am still with Sundays Well playing trad Irish folk rock greengrass and who knows what else. In 2007, I enlisted some of my talented friends and assembled some sessions at Hi and Dry Studios in Cambridge, Ma under the watchful guide of record sherpa Billy Conway(He plays the drums)The resulting recording is entitled Gin and Sugar which was released on the Whack Music label in the spring of 08 and is currently available at CD Baby or at shows. In early 2010, I started doing sessions with the talented and patient Steve Scully in Yellow Sound in Cambridge, and am putting the finishing touches on my 2nd solo CD,which should be out in early 2011.
