    With the new EP A Noise Revolution the Dutch rock band Mr. Knowhow presents it's second feat. As the title describes the new record is sturdier than the other songs Mr. Knowhow has released. On A Noise Revolution a solid rock sound can be heared, but the new record also has uplifting and atmospheric melodies. The band, who's known from it's energetic live shows, strikes back again! The new songs are the result of years of playing and writing music. Arno Wegman (drums) and Wim Raterings (guitars) have played music together for several years, including a gig under the name of Mr. Knowhow in 2006. In the beginning of 2008 they founded the band under this name with Marck Kuiken (bass) and Wendy Bruyn (vocals). After the release the band played several gigs, included a live show and interview at the local radio station RTV Noord. After that the band went through a turbulent period. In the end of 2009 Wendy left the band. Luckily a new front woman was found quickly in the person of Hanny Wolvekamp. In the beginning of 2010 Jeroen Buse joined the band to take over the bass from Marck. Although the line-up changes, the band survived. After the release of A Noise Revolution the band plays more live shows and the record was broadcasted on various local radio stations. The band also played their first show in Germany. At the end of 2011 came a period in which Jeroen wasn't able to rehearse and play shows with the band. Phil Russell came to temporarily replace Jeroen on bass. In 2012 it seems that Jeroen will not return and Phil takes over de bass definitely. At this moment Mr. Knowhow is at full strength again and it's time fot new energetic live shows! and guitar pop more and more own songs were written. Zoals de titel weergeeft klinkt de plaat wat rauwer dan het vorige werk dat Mr. Knowhow uitbracht. A Noise Revolution laat een stevige rocksound horen, maar de nieuwe EP kent ook opzwepende en sfeervolle melodielijnen. De band, die bekend staat om haar energieke live shows, laat hiermee weer keihard van zich laten horen. Het nieuwe werk is het resultaat van jaren lang spelen en muziek schrijven. Arno Wegman (drums) en Wim Ratering (gitaar) speelden al een aantal jaren samen, waaronder een optreden in 2006 onder de naam Mr. Knowhow. Begin 2008 richtten zij onder deze naam een nieuwe band op, samen met Marck Kuiken (bas) en Wendy Bruyn (zang). Beïnvloed door alternatieve rock, hardrock en gitaarpop werd steeds meer aan eigen songs gewerkt. Dit resulteerde in de release van de eerste EP: Out In The Open. Na de release volgen diverse optredens, waaronder een live optreden en interview op RTV Noord. Daarna maakt de band een onrustige periode door. Eind 2009 verlaat Wendy de band. Gelukkig wordt vrij snel een nieuwe frontvrouw gevonden in de persoon van Hanny Wolvekamp. Begin 2010 voegt Jeroen Buse zich bij de band, om de bas over te nemen van Marck. Ondanks de bezettingswijzigingen liet de band zich niet uit het veld slaan. Er wordt gewerkt aan nieuwe muziek waarna de tweede EP wordt opgenomen. Na de release van A Noise Revolution wordt er weer volop opgetreden en is de plaat regelmatig op diverse regionale en lokale radiostations te horen. Ook speelt de band haar eerste optreden in Duitsland. Aan het eind van 2011 breekt er een periode aan waarin Jeroen veel afwezig is en tijdelijk wordt vervangen door Phil Russell. In 2012 wordt bekend dat Jeroen niet meer zal terugkeren, waarna Phil definitief de bas overneemt van Jeroen. Op dit moment is Mr. Knowhow weer op volle sterkte en is het weer tijd voor nieuwe energieke live shows!
