Kevin Pollak has captured the attention of audiences worldwide with his incredible range of both dramatic and comedic roles. Over the past two decades, he has appeared in over fifty films and television projects and has established himself as one of the first stand-up comedians to go on to have a successful dramatic film career. Pollak first started performing stand-up comedy at the age of ten. By age twenty he had became a touring professional stand-up. He then landed a role in George Lucas’ “Willow,” in 1988. Pollak appeared in many subsequent films, but It was his role in the 1992 film “A Few Good Men,” that proved his ability to share the big screen with dramatic heavyweights.
Pollak recently released his first CD, “A Little off the Top,” where he goes back home to San Francisco to talk about his journey through show business. Most recently, Pollak received critical praise for his role in the independent film “Seven Times Lucky,” which successfully screened at this year’s Sundance Film Festival as well as the Los Angeles based Method Film Festival where it was honored with two awards, the “Best Feature Film Award” and “Best Screenplay Award.” He also recently wrote a screenplay that he sold to Disney as a vehicle for Tim Allen to star in. Pollak continues to entertain audiences with his national stand-up engagements and hosting appearances, and also recently joined the cast of the CBS series "Shark," starring James WoodsKevin Pollak has captured the attention of audiences worldwide with his incredible range of both dramatic and comedic roles. I'm down in southern California right now at college and I went to Disneyland about a month ago. I gotta tell ya, premium bars ARE awesome! I remember you talking about them on Conan a year or two ago and I just had to try one. I get one every time I go now.
Thank you for the add! "What is a Man, but that... lofty spirit... that sense of, Enterprise! That devotion to something that cannot be Sensed... cannot be... Realized, but only... DREAMED! The HIGHEST Reality!"
All i have to say is that your one of the greatest comedian/actors i have ever seen you should have like an action figure that has a pull string and instead of your voice its christphor walkens and it will shoot out random walkenisms sweet action. i love your work keep it up. Redmage
Hey Kevin... thanks for the add and greetings from Australia. I have to confess that I didn't know that you are a stand up comedian... until now I have enjoyed your various roles and your acting which I admire greatly. Now I have something else to look forward to as I check out your comedy. Cheers
Thanks for adding me, Kevin. I saw a clip of you on Letterman doing Walken, the one about trick-or-treating and later when he got left at a party and you gave him a ride. Hilarious!
