Biography
Krasqn is a well known Drum and Bass Producer and DJ from
Heidelberg, Germany. He started making music in 1992 because
of the high fascination for electronic music, especially breakbeats.
In 1995 he builted up his first studio. Some friends, such as Neon
TseTse and Dj Yello, followed him and they founded the first drum
and bass label in the Heidelberg area and furthermore a weekly club
night called SoHo.
From then on there was no turning back for his career as a DJ and
producer. After some releases on various labels he became a
permanent member of U3R Music in 1998. Together with Azazel
and E.Decay he founded the Rawhill Cru one year later. His
performances on dances and in clubs such as the Vibration Club,
Future, Meditation, Phaze Club, Kings of the Jungle… helped him to
gain respect and build up a status within the Drum and Bass scene.
In 2001 Krasqn, E.Decay and MC Soultrain did a promotion tour all
over germany and austria for the Mix CD called Lost in Bass. In this
time MC..s like Navigator, $pyda and Daddy Freddy started joining
the Rawhill Cru.
The big Ragga Jungle anthem "Mo'Fire" (Royce for Rawhill Cru, U3R)
in 2003 was the breakthrough of the Rawhill Cru. This project received
massive feedback and interest from the international Drum and Bass
Scene in no time, a videoshoot as well as a Rawhill Cru cover story for
the world famous Knowledge Magazine followed. Thanks to the massive
remixes by Fresh, Andy C and Bad Company UK, the tune further happened
to enter the UK Sales Charts at No. 24 and the UK Dancecharts at No. 1 in
early 2003.
Krasqn and his partner in crime Royce produced the follow up single called
"Helpless" which featured Daddy Freddy, $pyda and Navigator and got
remixed by Roni Size. Helpless was voted No. 1 Single at the future-music award 2004
After the split from the Rawhill Cru Royce and Krasqn left planet erth to create new music
