Mr. Loc's Bio
"Mr. Loc" is a performer, Recording artist, producer, and entrepreneur based in central Illinios.
With a pair of albums, a popular single and a large amount of production work to his credit, Mr. Loc has built a reputaion from the ground up.
"A lot of people say you can't start in a small city," Mr. Loc says. "But that's where you build your fan base and gain die hards."
He's built that base in numerous sites in Illinios, including The Bass Place, Club 217, Jb's Lounge, Ville's Planet, The Legion and the Lincoln Square Theatre. He's also performed at the Decatur Boys and Girls Club and O.K.O. Youth Center (and worked with children there), and at Decatur Celebration, an annual event that draws 300,000 people.
He's opened for acts such as recording artist Scarface , Lil Wayne , Do or Die, Twista , Qualo , 3Piece, Da Franchise Boyz , Yo Gotti , Shawnna , Ebony Eyes , Johnny P , and comedians China Doll, Otis Mac, and Wild Cat.
His two albums are "Piece of My Mind" and the freshly dropped "Sex & Money." The "Dem Thongs" single proved to be a summer hit song for many who heard it.
"When I was creating the album, " he says, "Dem Thongs" was the song that stood out to me, the one that would help create awareness of the album. "
And it worked, as Mr. Loc quickly built his fan club into hundreds of members.
"It's not about having to have millions of fans, " he says. "I can have a hundred or a thousand, and as long as they are sastisfied, I'm cool", says Loc.
Presently Mr. Loc is in the studio recording his 3rd underground album titled "Class In Session" scheduled to be released SOON. He Is blazing the streets with the debut single "Acttin Like A B***H"!
"One goal I have is, to gain nationwide exposure for my music, " he says. " I want to reach the platinum status, thats something I've never done before."
