MC Shocker

Shocker is the resident Host for the top two Hardstyle/Hard dance nights in South Wales, Breathe in Swansea and Bionic in Cardiff. Every month he introduces & hosts sets from top UK hard dance DJs including Lisa Lashes, Lisa Pin Up, Anne Savage, BK, Organ Donors and of course Cally & Juice. He has also worked with international artists such as Scot Project, S.H.O.K.K, Luna, Trance Generators, Analogic Disturbance, Pavo & Zany, Danielle Mondello & Proteous. His style is very minimal, uplifting and his crystal clear voice is enjoyed by all styles of music from Funky house to Progressive house, right through to all forms of hard dance. Do not class Shocker as just an MC, his style is more of a Host and he adapts to his surroundings depending on what kind of club he is in.

He has been an MC/Host in clubs for 11 years. Starting off with Hardcore and Techno back in 1995 working for events such as Dreamscape and Helter Skelter, he then became one of the only MCs/Hosts to successfully progress into the Trance and Hard dance scene. Here he found his expertise and has been working very closely with DJs Cally & Juice for the last 8 years doing events all over the UK.

Aside from Breathe & Bionic he also gets regular bookings for Welsh based Progressive house night, Timeflies. Here he has worked alongside the likes of Judge Jules, Seb Fontaine, The Plump DJs and Dave Pearce who normally will let no-one near the mic. He also works for Nukleuz/Frantic and has hosted several Hard House Academy events at the 4500 capacity Brixton Academy in London. In 2003 he hosted the Nukleuz Hard dance arenas at Creamfields, Escape into the park and Gatecrasher at the NEC Birmingham.

He was booked for Escape into the park 2004 festival and he joined Cally & Juice on stage at the very impressive 28,000 capacity Impulz festival in Holland on the 26th June 2004. On top of performing in UK clubs every weekend, he now gets regular bookings in Ireland for Hard dance & Trance events previously working with Scott Bond & Anne Savage.

His style, professional attitude and hard work has earned him the South Wales Dance Music Peoples award of best MC/Host 2003/2004 which he is very proud of. He is a professional artist who has a lot of experience in what he does and takes his role very seriously. He doesnt talk over mixes or vocals, he knows when to introduce correctly and more importantly he knows when to say nothing!
