"Pervert" is the addictive dirty break meets club track brought to life with Mr Me Innit's bold and naughty lyrics spat in a strong British accent, a breather from the influx of US style vocal dance at the moment. The single provides a blunt no nonsense tongue in cheek commentary on his sexual fantasies, all in a lyrically witty "Professor Green" kind of way with a slab of Mr Me Innit attitude.
The controversial, uninhibited, dark and almost X-Rated fantastical animated video features Mr Me Innit walking us through his perverted mind space with his favourite girls and was created by EMMY award nominee's voodoo Dog.
The animated character Mr Me Innit is the first ever virtual hip hop artist, even allowing for the poppier Dan The Automator's venture with the Gorillaz, and is the brain child of Hevlar Recordings whom recently co-produced the intro on Jay-Z's "American Gangster" album.
The single is receiving a huge push to radio, clubs, press & TV nationwide in the UK, and there's already been some fantastic reaction from the key press, with a lot of heat expected to build over the next few weeks. "Pervert" is the first single to be taken from an as yet untitled forthcoming album, with a provisional release date scheduled for Spring 2008 together with a second single.
