I have done amature stand up for some time, and it has been a ruff road. I fallen flat on my face hard in front of a few audiances and it sucks, I was going to give up say fuck it and walk away, maybe its not for me. I knew I was funny off stage I just had a shit load of trouble putting it on stage. Then a year and some months after the last time I did an open mic and was not happy with my self, an old friend called and asked if I wanted to do a show I said why the fuck not, getting to meet the other comics I was impressed it was a reminder of why I stated in the first place, and why I can’t stop. Chicago has produced some of the best comics around, I am not saying I am one of them but I am going to challange the otheres out there and set the bar a little higher.
Things are ok.I'll be back to do comedy just as soon as my mom's foot heals up.She hasn't been able to babysit for me on thursday nights,but hopefully tell Bert and everyone else that's been asking(I know,I'm so cool,I have lots of funny friends now!yay!) Tell them all I said I will be back asap....and I promise as soon as I can..I have a few new ideas for jokes that I am phsyced about.
