For my solo work...the songs on this page....just me, stringed instruments are extended range basses of 7-, 8- and 9-strings. Pads are various synths. Percussion courtesy of drum machines or loops.

I’ve been playing electric bass guitar for more years than I care to admit. Lots of cover bands playing about just about every kind of popular music through the years.
I also compose, record and perform live extended range bass guitar.
I discovered extended-range basses in the mid-90’s and realized that these extraordinary instruments were my vehicle to getting where I always wanted to be as an artist. Now everyday is an opportunity to learn more and expand my musical horizons.

Thanks so much, sweetie, but it wasn't MY birthday, it was my daughter Ashley's birthday today. She turned 23 and I was just inviting people out for a drink tonight. Yup, so much for my 9'er. I have a feeling she got dropped into the river by the tornado or carried off to Oz....one of the two. Called Chris and he's sending me a price quote for a replacement....then it's off to the insurance company.
