Next up was Mr Pasty rock influenced funky grooves with a hint of metal and lots of catchy harmony. The audience responded body moving to the beats. Electric lead guitar (and another woolly hat), Bass and drums with acoustic rhythm guitar and vocals. The band are David Hedley Moorhouse, Ben "jammin" Burnett , T. Ramsden and Tim Roish.
A great night Eve and I will definitely be going back!.

Mr Pasty is available for gigs at the drop of a hat, sets can include covers or all origional material ranging from what ever you can think of, set duration is up to you. Dj and amplification also optional, we also cover advertising for events too.

Mr Pasty, Mr Patsy, Monsieur Pasty, Manwell Pasty or Mr paisty comes under many names. He is neither a person or a bakery product consisting of pea's, meats, vegitables and sometimes with cheese.
Instead consists of four musicians who frustrated with the hum-drum buzz of every day music and the pigeon holes it has to offer, wanted to try and create a different approach, by making energetic, experimental sounds and vibes, that will encourage any crowd to dance, go crazy or just stand there and tap there foot/feet and enjoy themselves but dont let on there having a good time.
From another point of view, I surpose you could say we all wanted a change
We are all in a metal band and have been for 12 years, we even have 2 albums completed, but we found it hard as hell to get gigs, seems like you have to be going out with some one in the industry to get anywhere these days, and this in no way means we are selling out on our roots, just trying somthing different for a while.
So we started Mr Pasty , the songs are catchy and we can play with pritty much any band or line up, we just want to gig to the masses!!!, and its working a treat so far. . Long live the Pasty!

The Queen Victoria Hotel in Leeds is hosting egokillertv, which is making a roaring come back with free scrumptious nosh, free hip jigglin music from 5 bands including egokiller, Mr Pasty..and L-mo plus! free mind blowing must know info....and guess what its all free! PLUS its all being filmed for SKY TV, so the theme is french revolutionary, but it is optional :)
we've got what will be a funkin belter suppoting tha ever impressive Middlman at Leeds' Elbow Rooms on October 2nd!

Here at egokiller HQ we are beggin' for ya support this Saturday 25th July at The Faversham Pub, Springfield Mount, near Leeds University for the kick ass charity bash "CAM JAM". All the money raised goes to...yes you guessed it...Charity!! (i.e - Cambodia Trust).
Tickets are £4.00 for the whole night including the club night afterwards, may be getting filmed for local TV to!. Available at the door, or get em in advance from Crash records, and Jumbo records!.
