2007: The legitimate changing of Parisian DJing bears a name:
that of Mr. PITIFUL
Hardly 24 years and already a 7 years experience within the best Parisian clubs,
Mr. PITIFUL however has the head in the right place: conscious of having a good star, humble but perfectionist,
Charles-Eddy of his first name, is impassioned, insane of music, entirely dedicated to his cause.
Extremely gifted technically and culturally early, he all at the same time is a DJ, producer, sound designer, DJ/artists agent and manager of the Bone Setters label which he created with his accomplice Anthony. Their territories: France and overseas,
worldwide!
Worthy representing "90' Paris Dance floor" generation, jovial fellow in addition, this scholar of Jazz, Funk Soul, Hip Hop, Detroit Techno and New Yorkean House, plays since 2001 in the more in vogue places of the French capital:
Queen, Rex Club, Elysée Montmartre, Bataclan, Triptyque, Bains Douches, Le Bus Palladium... His public and assistants agree on saying that Mr. PITIFUL releases an intense and positive energy with turn tables: we love it!
Travelling around the world during the year 2007, he will go and meet all cultures (see world itinerary 2007), and share with the whole world his so Parisian know-how! An opportunity for all, taste the party, worldwide.

Child of the large Paris, raised in a family musical tradition, Mr. PITIFUL feeds himself of Jazz, of Soul, Funk and Hippie Rock'n'roll as of his childhood. Inspired by a musician father who changes his little boy’s room into a home studio, here is our young music lover missing his Playmobiles but surrounded by instruments: battery, trumpet and piano will become his preferred toys! He still remembers the Ray Charles, Nina Simone or Toto’s melodies, omnipresent in its youth.
Initially submerged by the energy of the rap song called "Jump" of Kriss Kross (1993), he will wait until 1999 to get MK2 turn tables and fully express his possibilities in DJing: it is THE revelation, Charles Eddy then becomes:
Mr. PITIFUL, in reference to an Otis Redding title.
At the beginning of 2000, important period of clubbing culture, music leads him to enter in action, in live: repetitions in youth houses, collaborations with breakers, training on djing... very quickly, a decisive meeting: Mr PITIFUL is 18, he signs his 1st residence at the Bains Douches in 2001 thanks to his Hip Hop, Hip house selection. Recognized skill, he takes part in the Sunlight program of his friend
Ron' X the same year, on
Radio FG, the 1st Parisian electronic music radio station: in the play list, Afro House, Deep House, Mr. PITIFUL has fun, all-Paris remains close to its transistor.
Established thus in the clan of the best Jazz Groove/Hip Hop/house DJs in Paris, he built a strong artistic network: Kitsuné, Llorca, DJ Deep, Paco, Trouble Men, DJ Vas, Mandel Turner, DJ Medhi, Max Vegas (australia), DJ Aurelien (australia), Miles Moore (canada), DJ Zo (canada)...
Up to know, he accumulates residences, shows and DJ sets in the city. Curious, he explores and widens his sphere of activities: he acknowledges his blow for pure Deep, which he mixes without any complex with funky house or pure Detroit techno... 100% effective, happiness.
