I make music (see music section on left for track players organised by styles).

My three main projects are

Social Computer - A huge concept-art thought experiment. This is something to talk, think and philosophise about. Not just a typical concept but a question that leads to a higher level of group intelligence. What is it and how could it impact our society should we build one? - Currently I’m looking into making a movie about it as a way of realising the concept. Take a building and make a movie about how we are trying to build a social computer there. The result is an exhibition called The Social Computer. Another approach with this is to create a high-level workshop for cities and other civil organisations. When in a group and trying to figure out what the concept can mean for us, it helps to generate new ideas and possibilities.

Civil Sandbox - This is the more practical version of the building idea. Something that can be built in every city. It doesn’t need a huge level of thought to understand and has a very clear remit. Perhaps it would just be called the Sandbox. In any city or even in rural environments, Sandboxes are analogous to their virtual counterparts in that they are an environment modelled around the real situation except that they can be broken to see what happens. IE new technologies, policies - indeed designs of any type - can be implemented to see what happens: without breaking the real thing.


Sandbox Festival - This is an annual city event in different cities each time. For 1 month we create a diverse range of city-level activities to generate a new situation in the city. Dare to dream. This is a way of realising dreams of the community and encouraging those in a city to go forward with their ideas. Something like a 60’s atmosphere but then in a festival. We change the conditions of the city to allow growth, international input and of course a lot of nice conferences, music and art.

I make music, video art, project concepts, inventions and also design flyers sometimes (see below). I fix computers for friends and help them to understand what is going on. I also sometimes do workshops in video. I like speaking about deep subjects (personally and publically) dancing and appreciate many forms of creative intelligence.

I do some work for Noisia to work on event ideas, some video and computer stuff. We're also exploring how I can contribute from my project The Social Computer.
