Freshers approaches – and what a year it promises to be.
I don’t know about you but I’m well ready for the return of Manchesters student population, so happy in fact that I am prepared to dip my hand in to my pocket, dust the cob webs off my wallet and scrap together some superb survival packs to get you all started.
So come and visit me at your Uni of choice, I’ll be touring Greater Manchester all next week – I want to see as many of you as possible……please don’t kick me or push me over though, you have no idea how difficult it is walking when you’re shaped like a ball, never mind getting up off a hard concrete pavement – it hurts, I cry at night!

At the moment I’m working to encourage all of you motorists to get out of your cars and free up the roads, I want you to try the wondrous public transport links available within the Greater Manchester area?
Thus I would love for you to join me in promoting “In Town Without My Car Day”, catchy isn’t it! You get the message though.
In Town Without My Car Day is held annually on 22nd September and is promoted to remind people about the opportunities for using public transport in order to get to work, go shopping, get to the football, enjoy a night out, or simply to make the most of leisure time.
