These are chameleon elements of her new Djette world, where Dr. Jekyll meets Mrs. Hyde. Her rule is: you can’t judge by what’s visible; the world you see by day isn't the same once night has fallen. What alchemical element changes us? Music, of course!!! Entrepeneur and business woman by day, Mrs. Blythe trades in her blackberry and YSL suits at night for her turntables and glam-rock style.
Renowned for her eclectic playlists swinging between Disco, Cosmic, Synth Wave, Electro and House, Mrs. Blythe is regularly featured by DJ's, collectives and party organizers such as EpiscoDisco, 1984, Wave Not Wave, Artificial, Radioactivity and Digital Summer in San Francisco, the sexy and classy Booby trap girls in LA, Institut Bonheur, Buvez Madison, Okinart & friends and Babydoll in Paris, Purple Sneakers and Loose End in Sydney as well as Fashion designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Colleen Quen Couture, Jan Warnock, Harputs OWN and Sofie Olgaard ...
SShe plays in hip and underground bars, clubs and galleries such as 222 Hyde, Vessel, Project One Gallery, 111 Minna Gallery, Harlot, Cat Club, Roe and Beauty Bar in SF, Temporary Space in LA, Rosa Bonheur, le Social Club, Les Frigos, La Gare aux Gorilles, Raspoutine, Le ChaCha, Le Cercle, le Curio Parlor, le Panic Room, l'Arc et Les Bains Douches in Paris, Abercrombie Hotel and Phoenix Bar in Sydney as well as improbable places such as mutant art cars and domes in the middle of the desert for Burning Man (for the Root Society, Opulent Temple, Monticello and Geckos camps), the beautiful Grace Cathedral in SF and a boat during The Cannes Film Festival.
From 2010, Mrs. Blythe is the promoter and resident dj of the Cosmicotherapy party, an indie party focus on Cosmic music (balearic/italo/space-disco, synth wave, afro, electro …) happening in Paris and San Francisco.
