A successful cartoon star in the early 1930's, Mr. Scootles had some exciting times. However, none of those animated adventures were as dangerous as the real-life battle he encounters in his afterlife. Trapped in Hell because of his creator's suicide, Scootles meets the Gatekeeper. She informs him that one of his films is a gateway to Hell. To protect the two college students who have the film reel, Scootles must not only prevent the Gatekeeper from opening the portal, but he must also make it through Hell, with his dwindling soul in one piece!
