About me:

Well lets see. I am a simple person. I really hate drama. I am not the girl that has to fill the silence in a room nor do I have to be the center of attention. I am a girlie girl who's not afraid to get my hands dirty. I really enjoy being around positive, happy, good hearted, soulful people. As my late great wise father in-law Doug Sahm once said "You Can't Live In Texas If You Don't Have Alot Of Soul" Everyone has a story and I love to listen to people and hear their stories. Its the people that don't usually talk about themselves that I really enjoy learning about. I have met some pretty interesting people along the way. I am pretty good with numbers, they just seem to stick in my head for some reason. I guess that's were my line of work comes in, I am the head honcho of Sahm Music. My husband Shawn is in charge of the more exciting part of the company. Books, DVDS, CDS, Recording, Playing..... I really enjoy photography. My favorite shots are candid shots. I like to catch people in their natural settings, where they look more comfortable with themselves. I am an animal lover. I have 3 Llamas(Curious George, Dolly Llama, & Baby Molly),2 Miniature Donkeys(Daisey Mae & Eeyore,)1 Super Large Goat(Loco),7 Sheep(Mama,Baby,Meme,Lulu,Meho,Queen Sheba,Princess Cocomo) We only started out with 2 female sheep but learned that our neighbors had a male. Then we have bunnies Yeti (who recently went to visit Doug & Violet) and Yoda. And last but NOT least we have 2 dogs Bo & Lola. So I guess you can say there is never a dull moment around here. A house full of animals & crazy musicians. And I love them all!
