First, I am sucker for almost all music released in the 80s. Not that I think tons and tons of reverbs make a good song, it's just an era that produced a lot of good music. Artist I have in my collection are Kraftwerk, Yello, Propaganda, Spliff, The Rah Band, Eric Gadd, Donald Fagen, Maxwell, Electric Music, Sade, Sting, Jarre, Level42 etc etc etc...
Movies
Anything SciFi really, my favorites are Dark City, Equilibrium, Matrix, Forbidden Planet, Star Wars
Television
TV Series, Stargate Atlantis, Eureka, Battlestar Galactica (cut the romance will you?) Heroes, Invasion, Alias etc...
