What's new:
Still going to YA. This year I've just finished a Financial Peace University class(Dave Ramsey) at a friend's church. It was awesome. I'm so excited that we now have money in savings, and we're working on being debt free, and changing our lifestyle and thinking when it comes to money. I've also started going to a woman's Bible Study at my church called Divine Design. We are learning about disciplining our children...it's pretty hardcore.
I'm also really involved with my MOPS group this season. It's a lot fun and I'm really starting to build more relationships. I'm on our leadership team, called the "steering" team.
I have a fun little baby boy toddler. He runs around and giggles and dances and makes faces and copies everything we say. He is now 23 months old. Wow! He is getting so big. In fact, he is now a big brother. (see below) I love him so much.
I procrastinate with laundry and dishes. I desire to get more organized and make yummier quality food.
I've been a doula for 4 clients so far. I've experienced a c section (in August), and almost 2 births in November; 1 hospital birth which made be realize how exciting this is, and another client just had her baby in the car on the way to the birthing center...so I missed that one by a few minutes. But, it was awesome to be there right after. I still need a 1 more birth for certification purposes though. I love this. :)My newest client had her baby a few weeks ago. It was a super long day that ended in a c section. But, in the end she told me I made a difference and that she couldn't have got through it without me.
God is real (if you didn't notice.) He has proven His faithfulness to me many times in my life so far. He is always blessing me and giving me undeserving grace. I'm not bragging. I know I don't deserve any of it. I'm trying to glorify Him with my life. He is awesome. He loves me and He loves you too for who He has created us to be... not for what we do.
My papa died on 8/15/08. I miss him when I think about it. Sometimes I cry. I dream about him a lot.
And, on a happier note...I have some big news for you people in myspace land... my newest son, Garrett Newton was born on Tuesday April 21st at 1:35pm at Fruitful Vine Birthing Center. It ended up being a water birth...and a quick one at that. :) He was 7lbs 4oz and 20.5 in. He is a cutie and a sweet little baby.

No matter what your views are on natural childbirth...I think every woman, especially every pregnant woman, should see this movie. :) It's very informative and inspiring.
