Mr Tater is a force of nature! He has released several startling records. Known recordings include "Electric Tater" (self-released 2003), "Check It In Check It Out!" (Knockdown South Records 2004), the double album "That Bullshit's Got To Go! Vol. 1 The Tater Speaks His Mind" & "That Bullshit's Got To Go! Vol. 2 The Story of Foster Wiley" (Knockdown South Records 2005), the solo record "Sweet Tater Pie" (self-released 2006) and most recently "Take A Walk In The Park With Mr Tater" (King Of Ashton Records, 2007), the later includes the groundbreaking documentary "Music Maker". He is rumored to be working on a new original record in Clarksdale. Also currently being compiled is "The Greatest Music Maker Alive's Greatest Hits", slated for a fall 2008 release on King Of Ashton Records. Mr. Tater lives in Clarksdale, Mississippi. His name and likeness has appeared in The New York Times, Gourmet Magazine, and the liner notes to the Grammy-nominated Elvis Costello album "The Delivery Man". Look for him in the upcoming BBC documentary on the history of the guitar, where he appears in a reenactment of the WC Handy legend of the very first blues man. No, we're not kidding.
