Memphis Slim, Otis Spann, Professor Longhair, Sunnyland Slim, Pinetop Perkins, Johnnie Johnson, Champion Jack Dupree, and Dr. John influence his individual style, encompassing elements of New Orleans Blues, Funk, Boogie and Jazz.
Through the years Tommy has opened for such greats as Watermelon Slim, Bryan Lee, Studebaker John, The Kinsey Report, Big Bill Morganfield, Smokin' Joe Kubek, Stuff, and Sister Sledge, in addition to playing alongside many local favorites.
