Who is Mr. Wonk?
A monster among humans, the knob tweaking madkid in the green mask. Mr. Wonk just entered into the scene in 2008 (after being created by an unknown scientist) and is expected to be dropping bombs left and right. This monster of the new school has been locked up in his bunker engineering some tasty bombs aimed directly at the dance floor. His productions can be described with a simple phrase "A Punch To The Face".

A fascination with sound design, has led to him molding sounds into a vision of his own. The funky kid is quickly gaining notoriety for his remixes, he has been hammering away remixes for esteemed artists from all walks of Electronic Music from Canadian star Deadmau5 to US House pioneer DJ Dan, "Shiny Disco Balls" creator Jorge Jaramillo to top Breakbeat player Dopamine among others on labels like John Acquaviva's Definitive Recordings, Melleefresh's Play Digital, Dave Aude's Audacious Records, and top Breaks imprint Title Fight Recordings co-owned by Klaus "Heavyweight" Hill and Dopamine, his name is beginning to pop out at every corner. His monthly "Wonky Sessions" are gaining popularity as well, featuring some of the most exciting talent from around the globe, like John Acquaviva, Wolfgang Gartner, DJ Dan, HeavyFeet, and Olivier Giacomotto to name a few.

2009 sees Mr. Wonk finally step out of the bunker and to the stage, after a year of studio hibernation. Party goers can expect a fun party, he will be fully indulging technology as he comes from a music production background, his arsenal of weapons include laptops, midi controllers, synths, and various other gadgetry.

This is just the beginning as he is just warming up and shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon... at just 21 years of age the young mystery kid behind the green mask is set for a fun adventure as he injects some excitement into the scene with his good vibes, fun tracks, and explosive performance. |
