I'm really glad to hear that you found a place nearby, I know how you feel about the neighborhood! Plus Moddy will be able to stay near all of her friends. Hopefully the new landlord is a decent person, too!
I'm off from work, so I'm going to do some 'work' at home...HA! Need to go through my closets and get things organized. All the warm weather clothes are getting packed up and the winter ones coming out. I'm also going to gather up some that are going to go to the Salvation Army thrift store. I lost about twenty pounds since last winter, so a lot of stuff doesn't fit anymore.
Then an afternoon of watching football and dinner with my mom and brothers. Afterward, probably a six-pack of beer so I can break all of the tension that will build up after spending a few hours with my family....HA!

Happy Thanksgiving! So how are you doing? I've had a rather stressful week, glad that the holiday is tomorrow. I wish you were single, you're so beautiful! So any big plans for the weekend? So I'm trying to come up with ideas for a script so I can send it to Winona Ryder, maybe get to work with her. I don't have any idea, but I've always wanted to work with her and maybe get an internship at Tim Burton studios. Well I drew a turkey in the background of this picture for some reason but I don't remember why, but it's about the only drawing I can use for Thanksgiving. Wow, I have a lot of respect for the DAR, ever since finding a pamphlet in the library a long time ago that was provided to immigrants for citizenship testing... I learned more about this country from that tiny pamphlet than any history book in school.

My one grandma was all German Comfort Food and quilts and singing lullabies to me in German.. my other Grandma crocheted and made me flannel nightgowns for Christmas when she wasn't glaring at me and saying "you're just a little Jew!" all sneery eyed (see other Grandma). Made a mean mess of Pork Chops, Sauerkraut and Dumplings though, she certainly did, nutty as she was.
I'm on gravy duty again this year - and Shrimp Salad. Thinking of baking an apple pie just for the fun of it.
The weather here today was like Spring compared to last week! Was so nice, I went out and transplanted Perennials! The soil is perfect, giving - the weeds were easy to pull; kinda a Reverse Spring. Tonight it's already getting frigid without cloud cover to hold the heat in - stars are nice and bright though.
hangin' out, me and dog... thinking of adopting another pup, a small dog like a Pomeranian. Insee is losing his hearing, and I want an alarm for when people approach the cottage - Pooh also needs a buddy, a dog to pass on his good manners and excellent disposition to. The County Dog Control is having a "sale" on Friday... I found this little guy...
He looks alert under that bewilderment - needs a good brushing tho'!
