Heroes
My 16 year old daughter is my hero. In her short 16 years on earth she has experienced over 7 deaths of people close to her, including her dad who died from cancer. She's been thru more in her life than you can imagine and yet, she still seems to find the good in people and still enjoys her life to it's fullest.
I'm an independent publicist and co-owner of Meridian Entertainment with my business partner of 10 years Hard Hittin Harry! I've worked with some great people in the entertainment business, made a lot of amazing memories and have learned a great deal in my life.
I'm also an artist/painter, creating multimedia pieces in acrylic, ink and paper. I also make dolls, quilts and handmade books and papers, write poetry, haikus and am in the process of finshing a book (more info to come on that). Check out my art site by clicking on the below pic.
Creativity is so underrated these days. No one wants to be different anymore....thats why a lot of so called "outsider art" inspires me. Wear that term like a f*ckn badge, because you are beautiful when you are truly being yourself.
I get asked a lot about my nationality, my mom is Cherokee and Puerto Rican, and my dad is Black/Zulu (yes, Africa) and Sicilian. I'm a freakin mutt, that's what, lol.
I like interesting people who don't have their head up their azz. You know the type, they think they know everything and don't want to hear anything contrary to what they believe. A second opinion is neccesary sometimes, particularly when you have something you are trying to sell to the masses. If you can't step back and let someone take a critical look at your shit, you're too damn sensitive, and need to get over yourself.
