About Dominique

The Autobiography:

As a girl I always had an intense love of all things music although I did not really begin to persue it until after my high school graduation. I joined several now defunct girl groups hoping to get my start only to face my first disappointments while gaining valuable insight into the buisness. After deciding to continue my journey as a solo artist I worked with several local producers and discovered my nack for songwriting.

Songwriting has become not only my plan B but my outlet to express my hopes, dreams, fears and discoveries. Many of my first songs came from places so personal that I never thought I would record them let alone release them. I was blessed with the opportunity to pen two southern entertainment award nominated songs and look forward to being known for not only my writing for myself but for the work I do with others.

As a live performer I have gone through several progressions from DJ's to live bands. I work very hard to improve with every gig. I want people to leave energized and excited about the music. I am inspired by the great Tina Turner and the hometown girl Beyonce when it comes to putting on a show. I just hope to one day be able to join their ranks.

Good Girl Blues was a natural progression of my musical career and for me it appears to be the start of something big. When you listen to my first album I hope to have you think of loves of the past, present, and future. It is my musical autobiography.

My journey is just beginning...
