General
Unsurprisingly, I like to read a lot, particularly old faerie folklore books. I am also interested in drinking coffee, fairy tales, urban fantasy, gothic decorating as well as planning my eventual goth garden, collecting ball-jointed dolls (dollfies), trying to get my greyhound off the couch, absinthe, and reading teen/young adult fiction.
Music
I have a terrible habit of getting into one artist or album and playing it over and over and over again. Some of my favorites are the Dresden Dolls, Rufus Wainwright, Joy Division, the Magnetic Fields, Hooo, Bauhaus, Adam Ant, VAST, NIN, The Police, David Bowie, Siouxsie and the Banshees, the Velvet Undergroud, and Dead Can Dance.
Movies
Hmmm...the Spiderwick Chronicles film is coming out this February and I would be remiss to not consider it my favorite...
My former favorites include Labyrinth, Legend, Plunkett & Macleane, Strange Days, Brick, A Clockwork Orange, Lord of the Rings, Wonder Boys, the Crow, and Angels & Insects.
Television
I find really, really trashy and terrible television strangely relaxing. But, on occasion, I actually pay attention to what I'm watching. Here are some shows I've loved: Classic Star Trek, The Prisoner, Remington Steele, Farscape, Buffy, and Entourage.
Books
There's no way I'm going to be able to get all of my favorites here, but here are a few:
TEEN
Megan Whalen Turner's Attolia Series, Franny Billingsley's The Folk Keeper, Cecil Castellucci's Boy Proof, Queen of Cool, Beige, The Plain Janes,
Garth Nix's Sabriel, Lirael, Abhorson, Delia Sherman's Changeling, Cassandra Clare's City of Bones, Justine Larbalestier's Magic or Madness, John Green's An Abundance of Katherines, David Levithan's Boy Meets Boy, Scott Westerfeld's Peeps, Kris Reisz's Tripping to Somewhere, Steve Berman's Vintage, Francesca Lia Block's Dangerous Angels
NOT TEEN
William Butler Yeats, John Milton's Paradise Lost, Georgette Heyer, Katharine Briggs, Mary Stewart, Michael Chabon, Neil Gaiman's Sandman series, Emma Bull's War for the Oaks, Finder, Ellen Kushner's Swordspoint, Privilege of the Sword, Charles de Lint's Jack of Kinrowan, Sharon Shinn, Terri Windling,

Thanks for adding me. I got a copy of TITHE at the ALA this summer, and it was *wonderful* -- I was already doing some fairy research for a possible upcoming book, and TITHE opened my eyes big time. The rest of your work is on my list, and I'm really looking forward to it. Keep up the good work!
Best,
Jennifer
