I love great music. Music that moves me. Music that makes me want to dance. Music that makes me cry. Music that screams "make a difference." Music that I don't like, but come to love. Genre doesn't matter, nor does who wrote it or when. You just know when you hear it.

Folky rock pop? I don't know, what do you think? I'm open to suggestion!
I did most of my growing up in Sherwood Park, Alberta, although I think a lot of it happened during a couple of years I spent in England in Junior High. Like a lot of people, I've always been into too many things, too many interest to pursue them all with the passion I would have liked. Music has always been a big part of that, but it makes me happy to say that as the years go by, its part of the pie chart gets bigger and bigger.
I love playing music and I love writing it too, although the first seems to come a lot easier for me. I was reading a magazine a while ago in which there was an interview with John Hiatt and he said something about song writing that struck me. He said, "I always feel the same way when I go to write a song: it's like I've never written one before. I don't have any idea how to do it." I feel exactly the same way. Yet I keep going back to the guitar, trying to express something that I can never quite seem to get right. I write songs about people and events and changes in my life that I can't come to terms with in any way other than to write songs about them. The few that I have recorded are on this page, and I hope you like them enough to want to hear more. They've given me a little clarity, and I pray the same for you. Enjoy!
