I'm heavily into the blues, but I like all kinds of GOOD music! I can even listen to good rap. (I know, it sounds like an oxymoron)I've performed with Muddy Waters, Pinetop Perkins, Bob Margolin,Willie "Big Eyes" Smith,Big Bill Morganfield, Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Junior Wells, James Cotton, Roomful of Blues, Hubert Sumlin, and Luther "Guitar Junior" Johnson, among others! Movies
I love a good movie! I'm partial to movies with a great sound track, and comedies, but, I like horror/thrillers, too! That's why one of my all time favs is "An American Werewolf in London"...it has it all!
Television
I'm a big "Monk" fan. Other than that, I'm into all the Discovery Channels.

I was born Marcia Sadowski in Worcester, MA., January 20th, 1950. For as long as I can remember I wanted to make music...at times, it was my only refuge from a troubled childhood. My first instrument was an up-right piano that was in the front hall of the foster home I was raised in. I never learned how to play it well, but it sparked an interest in songwriting. I later received a chello from a babysitter when I was around 8 yrs old. I played it like an up-right bass, even though I had never seen one before. Even when I got my first guitar, I was more interested in playing the bottom four strings. I joined my first band at 16...an all female band called "The Broad Explosion", later called "The Peppermint Conspiracy." It was a couple years later that I met Jimi Hendrix at a show he did at a local college in Worcester, MA. You can read more about me at www.msmarciblues.com
Who I'd like to meet: It was my interest in meeting other musicians that lead me to meet Jimi Hendrix in 1968. I heard music coming from a hall at Clark University. When I followed the riffs, they led me to Neil Mc Phail, the man who about a year later personally introduced me to Jimi. I've leared since then that you never know who you might meet and how they may end up influencing your life! Neil introduced me to Jimi, who introduced me to Buddy Guy, who introduced me to Luther "Guitar Junior" Johnson, who introduced me to Muddy Waters, who introduced me to Pinetop Perkins...and so on!
