Plus, I Can Act& Atlanta based production companies, Zellyo Productions, Inc and Unleash Entertainment, Inc are teaming up to present the first ever actor's workshop for serious Plus Actors entitled, "Plus, I Can Act" on Saturday, July 19-Sunday, July 20, 2008. Facilitated by Broadway actor, Mr. Jamie Brown of Unleash Entertainment, aspiring actors will participate in classes such as Improvs, On Camera Work, Audition Techniques, Monologues, Commercial Auditions and others.
Mr. Brown is a native of Jersey City , New Jersey . After attending college in Los Angeles , Jamie decided to set his sights on Broadway, where he began his acting career in the late 1970's. Jamie landed the lead role in the hit Broadway musical, The Best of Broadway". After conquering Broadway, Jamie went back to LA to pursue his passion of writing. Some of his credits include: "The Young and the Restless", "All That". "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, " Hill Street Blues; and Michael Jackson's "Remember the Time". Still not satisfied, Jamie relocated to Atlanta to work as a producer in network news.
Jamie founded Unleash Entertainment, Inc (www. unleashentertainment. net) in 1989. Unleash Entertainment (UE) started as a music video production company, but has since blossomed into a creative boutique specializing in highly customized Domestic and International projects ranging from music videos, commercials and promotional material.
