An diesen kulinarischen geselligen Abenden haben wir jedes Mal ein Land oder einen Kulturkreis als Schwerpunkt. Zu guter Küche möchten wir ein kulturelles Rahmenprogramm veranstalten.

LITTLE PICTURES sind ein Bedroom-Synth-Pop Duo aus Wellington, Neuseeland, bestehend aus Mark Turner und Johanna Freeman. Sie leben und studieren in einer kleinen Stadt am Meer, wo sie an ihren Synthies Tracks zusammenbasteln, bei denen sie mit ihrem neuseeländischen Akzent über eingestreute Hip-Hop-Beats singen. Saxophon, Glockenspiel, Sampler und live Power-Points sind allesamt Teil ihrer wunderbar schrägen, reizenden Welt. In Neuseeland gehören sie zum Lil' Chief Kollektiv, in dem sie mit anderen Künstlern wie The Ruby Suns, The Brunettes, Lawrence Arabia nicht nur ihre Ideen austauschen, sondern auch Essen und Wohnraum teilen. Auf Lil' Chief Records ist auch ihr Debütalbum "Owl + Owl" erschienen, mit dem sie schon auf Tour durch Neuseeland, Australien und die Blogosphäre waren. Ihr Cover Schrägstrich Remix von Weezer's Buddy Holly hat ihnen einiges Hitpotential beschert. Mit einem zugesagten Auftritt auf dem MIDI Festival 2009 in Toulon, Frankreich, können es Mark und Johanna nun kaum erwarten, im Sommer Europa und eine ganze Menge cooler Leute kennen zu lernen und auch uns mit ihren Shows zu beeindrucken. UMIUMI aka Anna Berglund is a mixture of sweet electro songs and confusion. She, stationed in Stockholm makes all of her songs and recordings in a small apartment in Bagarmossen. Her music is descried such as lullabies for grownups. With a smile she writes mostly about sex, laughs and her lyrics seems to be in a sort of happy depression. STEFANA FRATILA was born in Sibiu, Romania and now records weird orchestral pop music in her bedroom with instruments such as the kalimba, ukulele, and auto-harp in Canada. I used to like pina colada's when i was 10...I love jukeboxes. I've been known to sit for hours watching films, alone..reading books cover to cover in one sitting....listening and singing to music..loudly alone.. I like video games which all you have to do is shoot (more functions im lost) like space invaders and tetris. If its your birthday I can make your present in under 20 minutes..watch out! the glue may still be wet...and I may have to improvise with the letters..if I like you I will cook for you, that is if you enjoy food..and if I love you micasa sucasa...autumn is my favorite season..unless its summer...my mother says im easily impressed...but i just find desire in simple pleasures..silly jokes, spontaneous actions, truth, love, watching you perform, happy when you call me out of the blue, when you cook something yummy just for me, when you create everything inside your head and then in moments of inspiration you put it down on paper in sound in moving picture, etc..When you can giggle with me over silly stuff and be impressed with these things at my side.
