Bobby Baby is Ella Blixt. Born and raised in the deep and dark, but beautiful forest of Småland, Sweden, Ella started to write songs at the age of 12. Her first instrument was an acoustic guitar, that she bought from a boy in her class. After some years of playing and singing in bands Ella started to write and record music on her own as "Bobby Baby" in 2005 - the name taken from a song title by the canadian band "Young and Sexy". Bobby Baby is using a lot of different instrument together with electronic beats and synthesizers and the result is playful pop music.

THE GENTLE LURCH. When a German band devotes its sound to traditional American Folk and Country roots the result often is a little out of place and music and words might feel somewhat affected. Not so with The Gentle Lurch, a trio from Dresden, consisting of Lars Hiller, Cornelia Mothes and Frank Heim, who comfortably can be ranged with the likes of Bill Callahan or Bonnie Prince Billy. Maybe because they don´t try so hard to conceal their origins, but rather put all their skills and passion unfiltered into every single note they play, the songs on their second album “The Beat of the Heart is the Beat of the Boss” sound paradoxically authentic. AUSTIN BROWN from High Heels performs solo with a band of amps. the amplifiers and speaker cabinets are home-made and quite small, but the end result is lush with texture. simultaneous single-tone drones, at octaves of one another or harmonies with each other, create a warm bed of sound for quiet singing and gentle guitar. About me: I Book Bands..I was, I Am and Will always be a Filmmaker, I Am a Mother..and I Am an Open Book.. most of the time.. you dont have to look in my bag, my medicine cabinet, my desk, well, sometimes that says alot! I used to like pina colada's when i was 10...I love jukeboxes. I've been known to sit for hours watching films, alone..reading books cover to cover in one sitting....listening and singing to music..loudly alone.. I like video games which all you have to do is shoot (more functions im lost) like space invaders and tetris. If its your birthday I can make your present in under 20 minutes..watch out! the glue may still be wet...and I may have to improvise with the letters..if I like you I will cook for you, that is if you enjoy food..and if I love you micasa sucasa...autumn is my favorite season..unless its summer...my mother says im easily impressed...but i just find desire in simple pleasures..silly jokes, spontaneous actions, truth, love, watching you perform, happy when you call me out of the blue, when you cook something yummy just for me, when you create everything inside your head and then in moments of inspiration you put it down on paper in sound in moving picture, etc..When you can giggle with me over silly stuff and be impressed with these things at my side.

SHELLY SHORT is a native and current resident of Portland, Oregon, songwriter and singer Shelley Short grew up among characters and artists in a wood-heated home stocked with books, records, and well-cooked meals. As Short recounts: “It was like growing up in a time machine; in some ways we lived like it was 1896, chopping wood, growing our own food, wearing eclectic clothes in a Victorian home and singing our own songs. After three lovely years in Chicago, Short has hit the road of late, opening for likes of M. be designed around the respective neighbourhood.
