About me: STATS:
"The savage colleen from the island so green...."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oK3HUMHydGI
30 years young, with an old soul.
I can speak two languages, and write in three.
I currently am a burlesque performer in Hollywood and have been performing and/or producing shows all over for nearly 6 years now.
I also lecture in many of the UC schools about human sexuality, alternative sexuality and sexual freedom.
For those that are wondering, I am not in the adult industry, I just have many friends that are.
I've got a background in boxing, and have residual injuries from doing it competitively.
Im not afraid of much, besides worms...
I fucking hate worms. Pretty unfortunate considering my absolute love of plants and gardening.
I have several rare plants I am growing right now. Seems my thumbs are fairly green.
I have almost 15 years of opera singing experience. Now I just look forward to singing blues and jazz.
One day the Mighty Stef will make it over to the U.S. and I will convince him to sing with me. :)
I am college educated. I like to know that my education is there, and I think that school is very important for people. It makes a difference in how you relate to others.
I try as hard as I can to be loyal, and honest, without being brutal and classless.
I wrap my heart around those I care about like a great blanket. I have been told that I am intense.
If you happen to be one of those people, you have the ability to wound me more than anything. Be gentle.
I will defend you if you need it. If you need me all the time, I will abandon you.
No one is so unfortunate that everyday is a tragedy. People who act like it is hold no interest for me.
When I hear the song "Fairytale of New York" or "Scotland the Brave" I cry.
I'm not even Scottish. I bet you never would have guessed.
Do not ever call me a Mic, Paddy, or Pikey unless you are trying to start a fight. I don't think it's cute.
Im pretty sure my grandmother was an avatar of God.
Should I have kids of my own, I won't want to raise them in this country.
I love men for what they are. I love women for what they are. I don't suffer the gender bias. This doesn't mean I am BI OMG, it means I'm not prone to caring about genitalia over heart.
I am intensely protective.
I am not afraid of crying when I am happy, or during movies. I learned recently that I don't know how to cry from grief, or fear.
I still think Tom Waits makes the most progressive music of my time.
When I was little I wanted to marry one of two people: Adam Ant, or Billy Idol.
My mother put me through intesive training in etiquette, so should I curse around you, or stir my coffee with the same spoon as I eat my soup with, it's a conscious choice. I do know better.
I often wish I were in Japan, India, Ireland, Croatia, or Morocco. Anywhere but here.
I sleep with a stuffed alien.
I have dreams about being a superhero.
I care about beauty from an aesthetic aspect. I care about strength and consistency more.
I know which fork to use.
I have the best bed in the world.
I make a mean chocolate chip cookie.
I adore the finer things, and the simpler things, wine and whiskey, Louboutin and Converse, Caviar and beef jerky.
I have a husband that looks like Travis Barker.
I collect old boxing gear, Billie Holiday vinyl, rare plants and aesthetic memories.
I am always in love.
I will make a difference.
Who I'd like to meet: Anthony Bourdain (I love him), Mike Rowe, Eddie Izzard, Lewis Black, Thierry Mugler, Betsey Johnson, Mary Jo Sanders, Jason "MAYHEM" Miller (He's a bad bad man), George St Pierre (doesn't EVERY girl want to meet him)Forrest Griffin, Clancy Brown (an underused talent), Simon Pegg, Mos Def, Guillermo del Toro, Kanye West, Q-Tip, Tom Waits, The Mighty Stef, Imogen Heap, Billy Bragg, Nick Cave, Elvis Costello, Roger Daltry, Mick Jagger, Judd Apatow, Master Shake, Michael Hussar, Lori Earley, David Stoupakis, Kris Lewis, Glen McDowell, Mikhail Baryshnikov, dancers, painters, writers, cartoonists, graffitti artists, sculptors, photographers, creature FX people, breakdancers, freerunners (amazing people), ninja warriors, people who collect uglydolls and or Egon Schiele prints, everyday heroes and true appreciators of this life....
Anyone who isn't uneducated, ignorant, or boring.
