I am a proud mom of three beautiful children - ages 20, 18 and 17. I am also a "nanna" to one Bryce - son of Miranda and Jon. I have been married for 21 years to my wonderful handsome husband Rodney who is a paramedic. I am an OB RN. I no longer work due to multiple sclerosis. But I was travel nursing and loving every minute of it!!! I was in Hawaii on the island of Kauai for 5 months. HEAVEN!!
I love spending time with my family and friends more than anything. I have two great brothers and a wonderful sister in law. I have two beautiful neices and a handsome nephew. I live close to my wonderful parents who are my world. I am very, very blessed.
We also have two dogs - Pepper, a chow and Fifi, a very spoiled poodle. New to our clan are three horses. We enjoy riding and taking care of them. Hopefully I will have pics of them up soon!!!

I have always loved Elvis. I was the "weird kid" in school because while everybody else was loving Madonna and Culture Club, I was rocking to Elvis. Now, it's not so "uncool" to love him. Actually, my great-great grandfather and Elvis's greatgrandfather (Mrs. Minnie Hood Presley's father) were brothers. OOooooooo! I know, it's not much. But everybody around here (20 miles east of Tupelo) claims to be related.
I LOVE LMP!! Rodney surprised me last summer with tickets to see them in New Orleans. They were awesome!!
My heroes are my Mom and Dad. Growing up during the depression in the South, they had to quit school to help out with farming as many children their age did. My father and mother moved from Fulton, MS to Zion, IL after they married for my father to find work. There, they became very involved in the ministry. They helped start a church in Zion, IL. God is the most important thing in their life. My father went on to futher his education. He became a minister when I was four years old. He overcame great hurdles in his life to work for his Lord. My mom is a very strong woman as well. I have never seen her lay her head down at night without reading her Bible. They are truly children of God. I love them dearly.
