Spirituality is the number one thing in my life during this lifetime. I am a prayer warrior, with strong, powerful prayers, and I am also an extremely sensitive empath.
Don't get me wrong, though! I have said and done the most stupid, dumb-ass, hurtful, and mean things in my past than anyone that I know ~ UNFORTUNATELY ~ But it was all part of the process of growing up, physically, mentally and spiritually. I wish more than anything that I hadn't said and done so many things to hurt so many people, but we can't go back. Only forward ~

I've always been real sensitive, so out of hurt and drugs, in the old days, I just said and did whatever I wanted to, just to get back at anyone that was mean to me. Especially my mother ~ Until the day she died, recently, she claimed that she doesn't know what she ever did to hurt me since I was 12 years old. I feel sorry for her for that. We can't begin to grow or move on until we can face the dark side of ourselves ~ And we ALL have one! I am happy to say that my life is now an open book ~ I have spent countless hours and years and months and days searching my heart and trying to set things right with my God. I have a God that I know loves me, no matter what I may have done in my past. I know that He/She understands our hearts ~ And why we say and do hurtful things ~ It's not an excuse, just the truth ~
I'm not perfect, yet, and you may not be perfect, yet, but I believe that we are all a work in progress. We will get there as long as we open ourselves up to the truth about ourselves and work on ourselves. As long as we continue to tell lies to ourselves, we will not change. It takes a lot of faith and intestinal fortitude to face our darkside, and we ALL have one. But I admire those people soooo much, because they are the true warriors in life. There are none above them in my book!

I am an empath, and I tend to often get moody or even depressed at times if I pick up on someone who is mean, selfish and self-centered. (Even if it is only in their thoughts.) But I also pick up when someone is sad and going through a lot. I tend to take on what others are feeling and I pay for that with a lot of illness in my own body. I've done everything in my power to not let things get to me, but they do and always have. I am currently working on this, though, because I don't believe that God intended for any of us to take on everyone else's burdens. Yes, we should have compassion, but not empathy to the point of making ourselves sick in mind or body.
To me, there is nothing better than good friends! I can do without a man, but I can‘t do without my good friends! And my friends on MySpace are some of the BEST friends I've ever had in my life!! We have been through hell with eachother, and I could never begin to thank the ones that have stood by me in my times of sorrow and great pain.
I love nothing more in the world than helping people who truly need and want help, or a good friend to lean on. I feel like I've lived about 20 different lives in this one life, so I have a lot of practical experience to offer if needed. I never turn anyone away unless they just won't get what I'm trying to tell them, and who want to go over and over the same things continually. That makes me crazy and I don't put up with it anymore, because all they do is drain me. I feel like they don't appreciate the hours that I've put into helping them.
Those kind of people are known as "Spiritual Vampires", They are empty souls and they survive off our energy. Trouble is, if we're not careful, they will leave us completely drained and empty of our life force, before we even realize what has happened. We must all learn to know when to let go of people like that. Even if they're family. Some people genuinely want to grow, so they need and appreciate our guidance and love. But they eventually learn how to stand up on their own 2 feet, Those types of people are wonderful and easy to work with. I am very patient with people, generally, but if I start to feel tired and drained, all the time, I now know why. It takes awhile to learn that lesson sometimes, unfortunately. Especially if we are empaths or people with a lot of compassion in our hearts.

NOT A BLUE MOON This bright Full Moon was captured on December 2nd, shining above a church overlooking the River Po, in Turin, Italy, It was the first Full Moon in December. Shining on celebrations of New Year's Eve, last night's Full Moon was the second Full Moon of December and so fits the modern definition of a Blue Moon - the second Full Moon in a month. Because the lunar cycle, Full Moon to Full Moon, spans 29.5 days, Blue Moons tend to occur in some month about every 2.5 years. Shining in the glare just above and right of December's first Full Moon is the Pleiades star cluster.
