============================================================================================== Photobucket ============================================================================================== February 27, 2009: I've got to say, your music is some of the most beautiful I have ever heard, out of everything I've ever heard. The lyrics are honestly sweet and humorous, and the songwriting is right up there with the best. It's a perfect blend of back porch ballads, cowboy harmonies, and traditional folk, deserving to be heard by all. I've been a believer in writing shamelessly from the heart, and your style is a validating inspiration to keep believing that truthful music will always be the best music. Thank you! ~Harmony Gullette, Singer-Songwrter =============================================================================================== July 17, 2008 "Rash Behaviors is an excellent album and we have enjoyed listening to it as KBSU and we will continue to play it in the future!" KBSU (Boise State University) ================================================================================================ June 24, 2008 Thanks for your great music!" Chip Morgan WMUD 89.3 FM; Middlebury, VT ================================================================================================ June 15, 2008 Mike - thanks for the cd - I played "Coffee" on last week's show = back with "Dreamtime Train" yesterday - love the collection - good work! Jerry Saint Amand, Folk Music Director WMHB 89.7 FM; Waterville, ME ================================================================================================ May 5 2008 Mike great show on Saturday at the Leaf and Bean. Everyone enjoyed. Lot of great comments from the audience. Your songs were very good, great stories. You will be welcomed back anytime.Thank you for playing at Leaf and Bean. ================================================================================================ "Then Mike Strasser began singing, and what came out of his mouth was a voice somewhere between Lyle Lovett and Roy Orbison. ... I found myself quietly stunned. I kid you not: This guy is good. Sacramento News & Review; Jackson Griffith, "Trust Your Ears" March 2007 www.newsreview.com/sacramento ================================================================================================ Strasser's vocals are the key to his song's success. He's a great storyteller; ...you can feel the tragic elements in his voice. This is definitely an album for those seeking thought-provoking music in conjunction with a singular style." - Rambles: C. Nathan Coyle 9 July 2005: www.rambles.net ================================================================================================ "Probably best described as part Tom Waits' better singing brother/part romanticist, He provides interesting characters and entertaining stories that make this a worthwhile CD." Kevin McCarthy, 12/04: www.icogitate.com ================================================================================================ "Featured quite a few of your songs on my show yesterday... Your stuff is really good...songwriting, music and lyrics were both very good and timely...singing was great too" Mark Ostrv KVMR 89.5 Nevada City, CA

Hey Folks,

It's very last minute but Mark Dignam has been asked to play his own set at The World Cafe Live (upstairs) this Today at 8pm.

Hey there! Just checking to see if you'd like to play in Cincinnati with me at a grand re-opening party for Mantra Wellness Center. I know it's quite a drive, but I can give you the contact info of the owner. You could probably play for an hour - let me know - it's May 2nd.

I like the Harmony short line song, I grew up in Warrendale and walked much of the old rail line.

Maybe we could get you up at Rock Falls Park in Slippery Rock sometime...

The Craic Festival 2009 has invited FairplayCollective to play at this years Festival. All members will be playing in the round. The show is at The Mercury Lounge, March 14th at 8pm. This is the last night of the festival and Foy Vance is also on the bill. What more can I say, a great night for music and film, with the odd star thrown in. Come show your support.
